My father's pilot's license in Montana approx. 1918-1933

How would I go about obtaining information regarding my father possibly learning to fly an airplane in Broadwater County or Lewis and Clark County approx. 1019-1933? I would like to obtain copy/s of his license/s, as well as info. as by whom he learned to fly. Also, did Charles Lindbergh barnstorm fly in the above two named counties? If so, when? I think my father may have met him there, then later went to Calif. and flew there with him. Also, what kind of aeroplane did he fly? Thanks.
