QUEENSWAY 368 ZYZ

I live on the East Mall @ Burnhamthorpe in Toronto. From our East-facing balcony looking Southeast, there is a flashing white light (days) and flashing red light (nights) just South-east of Dundas @ Shaver. I am presuming this light is what's indicated on the YYZ approach chart as "QUEENSWAY 368 ZYZ"???
Aircraft that come to the Toronto area from Lake Ontario heading Northwest, make a wide right turn and head East toward downtown Toronto. Then, they make a 180 to the left, and head to YYZ. Is the QUEENSWAY 368 ZYZ beacon something that they have to "go around" before heading East???
Also I'd like to know how far they travel toward downtown Toronto before they start to make the 180 to YYZ. It looks to me that they go as far as Yonge Street??? I am looking at: [flightaware.com]

Thanks for any clarifications to my curiosities. pdm

No replies yet. Could anyone tell me where I could ask to get answers to the above?
