: What do the abbreviations NC-A, NC-J, NC-J8, NC-A1 stand for?
: Are they compliant to the American expressions for Jet Fuel Types, like Jet-A, Jet-A1, JP-8?

Dan,

The NC means there is no standing contract for military flyers to get fuel from a vendor. The types that you mention are exactly correct, A is Jet A, J8 is JP-8.
Hope this helps
