Hi. I found your e-mail on a web site while in search for any information on my dad's brother who died in 1955 in Japan. We did'nt know much about him and my dad has since died of brain cancer in June 2002. We have been trying to piece things together and the first thing of value we have been able to find is this. Please if you could let me know if you know Donald L. Cheeseman,I think he was a M.P. and was in the 8017 stationed at Camp Matsushima. He was guard at the Good Shepard Orphanage. My sister and I are very interested in any information you can possibly give us.

Thank you in advance for your reply in advance.
Cindy

I was stationed at camp matsushima from 1954 to 1955. It was one of the best duties anyone could ask for. I was very fortunate to be a special service N.C.O. and to work with a great group of people(Japanese). I wonder if anyone would remember. I was 22 years old then. I am now pushing 70 and it seems like yesterday that I was there. Hope to hear from someone. Thanks. Bill D'Amicis
