: how much jet fuel does a jet burn in 1hr?
If you mean a jet aircraft, like an airliner, then:
That depends upon its design, weight, the altitude of flight, the temperature and pressure at that altitude, and a number of other factors. The L-1011 Lockheed TriStar early series (100) aircraft I remember could be roughly counted upon to burn about 12000 pounds of Jet fuel to altitude (30000-40000 feet), 15000lb per hour at cruise and 7500 pounds on descent - for the last half hour. A trip London - Bombay (now Mumbai) would thus take about 185 thousand pounds of JetA for the simple burn (not counting reserves etc).
The simple answer for that aircraft was 5000 pounds per engine per hour at cruise. Later designs have shaved about 10% off that.
